Yep! It's behind the cover over the front sprocket. It is held by a little clamp held in place by a single bolt. If you remove the wire from the switch and touch it to the crankcase with the ignition on, the neutral light should come on. If it doesn't, check/ change the bulb first, if it still isn't working, check the wiring from the switch (light green/red tracer to the centre pin in the bulb holder, if there's no continuity, there is a break in the loom somewhere, so run a replacement wire up and secure/tape it to the loom.to test the switch in situ, get a spare bulbholder and bulb (6volt) and connect one side to the battery positive (+) and the other to the terminal on the switch. if the bulb lights when it is in neutral and goes out when you select a gear, the switch is okay. 9 times out of 10 it is the buld or wiring that is the issue. Love to see a picture of your bike!

Nice little bike you have there ...another York Reg .... probably from Alan Mountains. He sold so many Hondas to Rowntree & British Rail workers that he went on several Honda factory visits/holidays in Japan that were won because of exceptional sales.

Ahh, yours has the 2 part cover, it' will be behind the cover to the left, later models had a one piece cover on that side of the engine, cheaper to manufacture, I think it was late 67-early 68 they changed it. Yours is a very early one, first year of ohc rather than the pushrod motor of the C200 that preceded it. The later one piece cover was shared with the early C90 step through. Anyway, see attached pic, it is in the little triangular bit at the top right corner behind the forward casing. You will need to drain the oil, or lay the bike on it's right side (Easiest!) Yes Ash, it had three previous owners all in an around York its where i acquired it in 2013 , it had been semi restored in the 90s and then stored in a shed, i rebuilt the wheels new DID rims ss/s spokes, recovered the outer cover on seat,   foam was in really good nick , checked out the motor (someone had thrown a fair bit of wedge at it), carb /tank was in a bit of a state (tank) a week full of coca cola with hand full of chippings, flushed out after week , refilled with  vinegar for another week .. result brilliant., it had previously been sprayed in celli, so i had the tank done in 2pack in case of petrol spillage , really good match (fiat 152).. fitted a new old stock speedo £££ (not Chinese).. And now the neutral ind light works, happy bunny, thanks for the info Hairy..

I think in the sales brochure at the time it was described as the Sport 90. Looks far better in red that the black and a great tiddler.

Just replying to Ash's comments about his local Dealer visiting Japan and I recalled a lady who I used to cadge a lift off to work in Manchester about 1968 ish. Her Husband was a Sales Rep for Honda....and he had already won a couple of Trips to the Honda Factory in Japan for achieving his Annual Sales Targets, but he had this time around, as a reward, been given a small Honda Car - an N600 which was a great little car for his Wife to commute from Breck Road, Eccles to Manchester in.

I was mightily impressed with the Petrol Flap....which could only be opened when the Drivers Door was open.....dead clever in my view....but I was only sweet 18 !
Happy daze !
