Unit 1 Motorcycles, Wickham Market, Oct 18
« on: October 07, 2018, 10:11:56 AM »
This place is just a few miles up the road from my mother-in-law's place in Ufford, Woodbridge but I've never been there before.

After dropping her off on Satrday morning for a flu jab at the doctors' in Wickham Market, I drove down there and introduced myself.

First surprise - walked in and David Silver was standing there with a cup of coffee!

We chatted about bikes (as you do)

They have some really nice stock - said they were short of Hondas at the moment (just one 400/4) but had half a dozen 916s coming in soon...

Only had 20 mins so took some photos and promised to go back next time I'm in the area.

Long time since I've seen an RRN 'Blade

Some nice bikes there but high prices and poor website. Can't see them selling many at those prices unless to the unwise with too much cash.

Some very nice and expensive bikes there. The Urban Tiger Firblade was the best of the bunch. A mate had a brand new one for 6 months before a box driving cretin  decided to park his car in the rear wheel and subframe of the bike whilst waiting to pull onto the A4 from the M4 slip road in Chiswick. The bike was a write-off. Funny thing was when my mate got off the bike after being hit the bike stayed upright as the bonnet of the car had buried itself into the bike up to the pillion footrests!

I popped in there on the way home from Woodbridge. Seemed like a friendly little bunch and happy to leave me to look around the bikes - some lovely ones that I hadn't seen for ages.  I't stucked away though, so unless you drive past it's hard to know it's there.

I love the paint colours on the 350...if only it was a CL..

Lovely Urban Tiger, there's a buyers guide and test in Jan's CMM - worth a read.

This my UK 93 RRP, which I'll be letting go in the Spring. It's done 42,000 with full history etc, not messed with but it has to go as I can't ride it anymore without 3 days+ of pain in my right wrist which is from a old motocross injury which flares up every time I ride it.  Plus I need the space.
