Anybody got any CD175 sloper parts to sell... Cathy wants to relive her youth ! Seen one in bits but probably missing vital items

I loved those slopers, i had two, so much better than the later models, but isn't that the case with all bikes that Honda produced in the 60's 70's 80's, a case in point is the cb72/77 replaced by the cb250 that they then detuned to the slowest in it's class.

No worries at all .. I had a '66 briefly CB72 back in the day and I have a '64 CB72 project now but I much prefer my CB250SS or K0 if you must call it that... better gearbox and ratios, more power (30 HP std) , doesn't have naff flimsy kickstart cover, has easily accessible auto advance etc...sloper is a lovely little bike though ..much loved and getting collectable.

I wish I could help Ash, the 'sloper' parts are becoming less & less available...as before the CA175 model in the USA was the equivalent model with minor changes.
Also a lot of preparation for painting (as image)

Good luck with your search

Cd175a Center stands are seriously unobtainable.
But if anyone on here has one to spare.
I would like to buy it.
Sean.

Need both  alloy sprocket  covers and front mudguard.

Not sure yet Peter.. kickstart shaft looks knackered but not got into bottom end yet. Some PO has written 'crank U/S' on the crankcases though ..hence I got hold of a 160 crank, as they seem to be the same except for a few minor mods. Most of the 175A sloper gearbox parts are the same as 160 I believe, as are the rockers.

Whilst you are have the bottom end open.
Have you thought about fitting the 5 speed gears from a CB?
I've heard it make the bike a lot better.
I'm thinking of doing this conversion on my CD. As I find the huge gaps between the 4 ratios a tad unsatisfactory.
Sean.

Take your point but I think I will keep it standard Sean as I also have a CB175K5 too
