Contradicts himself quite a bit! "All original" then goes on to say it gas new pipes, chain sprockets, cables etc, frame repainted, sounds restored to me rather than original.

I'm really attracted to the 350 four but I've already got too many bikes and not enough space.

The four silencers do make the bike look very handsome. Strange to think the 4-1 system used on the 400/4 was also one of it's main selling points.
A question I have always wanted to ask though is if the 400 engine was basically an overboard 350/4 why did they change the clutch housing, was there a problem with the 350 clutch that was subsequently redesigned for the 400/4 engine?

Back at the time just about everyone with a four cylinder fitted a 4-1 system especially with the noise you were allowed to make back then.  The 400/4 was just a bike of its time (without the noise) and I guess Honda just about nailed it with the amount they sold.
