cam chain tensioner
« on: October 27, 2018, 05:13:10 PM »
Me again...already. Have I read somewhere that a popular modification to some racing cb750s is to fit the cb450 black bomber cam chain tensioner unit due to it being a much better design and being more reliable. Its evidently a straight swap but Iv heard that before. If anyone has done this or tried how did it work out, any pitfalls to watch for.

wow ...150 Euro for that .....plus about 20 more for the chain. Considering the amount of engineering in that, that is pretty cheap.
CB750F2 - in pieces
CB900F Hornet - the daily transport

Thank you for the link....I might just go down that route. Being an engineer myself, I can appreciate the work that goes into developing such a thing.
