750K Fuel Tank Identification
« on: November 13, 2018, 06:06:39 PM »
I'm just going to have a spare tank/side panels done in Candy Ruby Red for my K2 (because its my favorite colour) - I will keep my original Planet Blue set as well. The tank I have is the later LH tap tank and I need to find a tap.
I see from searching taps for sale that they seem to be the same upto K4 so assume there's something different on K5/6?
Question is how can I identify what tank I have (so I can buy the right tap) if there is a difference in the K3/4 and K5/6 tanks?

K5&6 use the same tap as the 750F1, but don't buy an F2 one as they are a smaller thread. Sadly F1 taps are available, but generally twice the price of the earlier K taps.https://www.davidsilverspares.co.uk/CB750F1-(Single-overhead-cam)/part_7030/

For anyone who's after a petrol tap for the later K and F models, just got one of these that fits a treat and less than £30 psted from America
