David Silver Spares replacement coils

Have just fitted these and was wondering if someone knew if black wires fit to the -ve or positive spade terminal on body of coil? Does it matter as it is just 2 ends of a coil I think? I thought maybe this is the same as black/white wires of original coils?

Sorry mate. Can’t think why you didn’t get an answer in two weeks. We must be slipping.

Buck up you lot!

Musta missed this one, black/white wire goes to +ve and yellow or blue(points wire) goes to -ve. On these coils i dont think it does make much difference but on single ht outlet coils it does.

Thanks for the info ... think I've got them back to front ... was wondering on looking closer at wiring diagram ... will swap over!
No worries about time to reply ... just happy to bottom it out ...
