« on: November 16, 2007, 09:36:58 PM »
Hi All, just thought i would show you some pic's of my new bike, its a Honda of course  ;), its a VTX1300 Retro cruiser, it came with the big screen and saddle bags etc, but i have put them in the loft as i like the look of the bike without them, i fancied something newer and this caught my eye  8), took it for a test ride liked it and bought it  ;D, its going to keep me busy cleaning it LOL. its like riding a armchair very comfy loads of power & a bit of a bugger to get used to at first  :D, hope you like it cheers mick.

We get Chinooks flying over here on their way down south.

They are f***ing noisy!  You can hear them coming from miles away!

You think a chinooks is loud, you want to live at the bottom of the Red Arrows runway

Hi Dave, its ok on long flowing corners at speed but shorter corners can be a bit of handfull  :o, just got to remember to adjust my riding style from the F1 to this, it is'nt heavy but it has a long wheel base & having a fat front tyre it wants to grip all the overbanding & grooves in the road , cheers mick ;).

Local dealer put a set of imported Vance and Hines pipes on one of those and the noise caused more damage than the last earthquake
