Here's the latest pic of my CB550F2 taken this evening.

I've replaced all the bits I wanted to replace so the rest is mainly paint and cosmetic work although the carbs need pulling apart and cleaning.

I'm not looking to restore it to concours condition, I just want it to look OK and ride OK.

Southport and the bike look great Dave, the rear end looks much better with those shorter shocks when on the main stand compared to your original photo on the beach with those long Koni

Finally managed to get a replacement chainguard with good chrome.

Just the front wheel rim and spokes to do. Probably do that after my hols.
