Camshaft tensioner

Just received new tensioner shaft from dis.old one was metal with material piece glued to end.new one is metal only.anyone had experience of same? It seems wrong metal on metal
More bikes than sense!!

It is a rubber or hard plastic foot with a metal cover on the end [ Guests cannot view attachments ]

No pure metal and not designed for anything to be attached to end.it does have a cone shaped profile at end.

That's a replica part, not genuine or original.
