CB750K2 pressurization of the oil tank
« on: June 07, 2004, 12:53:50 PM »
My CB 750K2 1973 is in excellent conditions, but i'm affraid about the pressurization of the oil tank and after a few minutes running, start to leak some vapours of oil thru the tank cover. This cover have a relief valve (like a radiator cover). What can i do to solve it? This pressurization is normal? The reief valve is miscalibrated? Since now, i appreciate your help.

pressurisation will probably be caused by worn cylinder bores/ piston rings/ holed pistons allowing excess pressure to blow by pistons and pressurise oil system, hope this is of some help to you, stan.
