Morning all,
Thanks for adding me, my bike i am doing up is a cb 500 four 1975, will post some pictures later, of the bike not me.
Know doubt there will be a few questions i will need to ask, so i will start with just one for now please, i have had to replace the ignition coils so i got them from D Slivers, the replacement ones have one black and one yellow wire, but the old ones have black & white and one blue & one yellow, i think i know where they go but would just like a expert opinion just in case.

Look closel at the coils +ve to black/white and -ve to the points wires ( blue and yellow)

Welcome to the forum, great place to get advice. Cb500/4 is my favourite bike.
Got a 500/4 with rust and a sidecar and loadsa bits. nice and original and been round the clock
