Airbox to carb rubbers.
« on: February 21, 2019, 02:54:32 PM »
I am refurbing a 1971 CB500K0 that appears to have a CB550K3 air filter case.  (It has the recirculating gubbins in the bottom).  It is missing the air box to carb rubbers and, from reading various posts, it would appear the CB500K0 & CB550K1 & 2 rubbers are different from the CB550K3 ones.  What’s the different and what ones to I need to buy for my situation?

Many thanks

Raymond

Being as you cant buy K3 ones and i think they are different because of the PD carbs i would suggest 500 ones and if you have troubles get the 500 plenum box as i believe it is only the air cleaner box that varies for the "gubbins".

EDIT
Just checket on CMSNL and 550(EXCEPT K3) plenum is same part number as 500 so rubbers must be same.
