That’s as old as me!

With the return of the Rocket and Daytona 765 soon, the only gap in Triumph’s range must be a Tigeress for 2020

My Big Bro' tells me his was a 'Sunbeam' ...Guess it was but the  BSA Sunbeam was just a badge engineered Triumph Tigress or vice-versa. I reckon it was just the colour schemes and badges that were different between the BSA & Triumph models. Blooming high price for that Mecum bike  though considering how cheap some of the other bikes sold for.  I think my brothers Sunbeam was in 'Polychromatic Blue'  if I rememeber correctly :)

These seem to be on a par with burnt-out F2s.  £3k for a barn find.

Not him again ..my mate recently bought a bike of him ..said he had tons of bikes.

Tigress TW2 and TW2S
Production Years: 1959 to 1964
Designed by Edward Turner, also sold as a BSA Sunbeam.
Shown to the public for the first time at the Earls Court Motor Show in 1958.
The differences between the BSA and Triumph models was purely cosmetic, initially the BSA was only available in polychromatic green and the Triumph in polychromatic blue (later this was replaced with Shell Blue).
TW2 was a twin cylinder 249cc engine also available was the TW2/S which featured an electric start and had 12 volt electrics.

"Lovely bike to own if you could afford the regular monthly repair bills" ... evidently build quality was really poor.  ;D ;D
