Looks like it's been re-sprayed in the wrong colour. The decals don't look right either. Piki, send him a set of your decals and tell him to do it properly 😁.

Tank cap with lock ............................£54.00
Fuel tap with filter.............................£50.00
Decal set for F2................................£55.00
Paint job (also panels) by LV custom...£378.00

Total ..............................................£807.00

By the way, the colour was the original.

It looks like a plum tomato with 'Honda' written on it....  :o

Seems like I got a good deal from Bill Head in Preston all those years ago. NOS with a tiny mark low down on one side - £75 with tap and cap

Kept it in a cupboard for over 20 years and now on the other 400/4 which I’ll be parting with soon so that I can reassemble the ‘Scottish’ one

I picked a new one still in the box on uk eBay about 10 years ago for 200 odd quid, I can’t imagine what I would have to pay now.
