Very Pricey CB250K0 dressed as a K2 !

Nice bike but has K2 tank and seat fitted....K0 should be either Candy red/white or Sardine blue/white with rubber kneepads and seat should not be pleated. I do like the candy gold custom though & had one as a student so fond memories and doing one of my '69 K0's in that colour scheme.

A bit like this one Ash.

What a sales pitch >> A bike can be restored many times but it is only original once

Shame it is not original, not with that rear end and in green, with K0 side panels   :o

£250 deposit at end of auction.....  sounds like this guy wants to treat everybody as if they are time-wasters. Probably got a bit of attitude, one to avoid unless you really really want that bike.

Seat looks giuliari style...but if it is a genuine giuliari then surely the seller would advertise that fact since they are worth quite a bit on their own.... my guess is that its a replica..?

About 20 times Roy.

I vaguely remember that bike from a couple of years back .. I think the PO passed away with it nearly completed on his bike bench (NOS exhausts were included with the sale) and a family member sold it on eBay for about a third of the current asking price.

Some brochure pics :)  K0 and K2 ... note tank and seat and chain-guard on K2 differences... Both had the 30BHP (claimed !) engine though (you can tell by TYPE 1 on the points cover).. There was a domestic Type 2 in Japan with 360° crankshaft. K3 onwards models  had detuned engine. Final K5/G/B1 models had a disc brake but never sold here. Then the model changed to G5 which was totally different in every way. Note the bike for sale doesn't look like the correct 'Candy Gold Custom' colour either.
