Just fired up my us k8
« on: April 26, 2019, 06:46:22 PM »
Missus at work so went into manshed. k8 not been fired for a couple of months as I was concentrating on my 1980s golf gti 87 XT600 and 78 dt175mx. Fuel tap on.,choke pulled and fired into life immediately 6 mins to settle down idling on warmup. You can't make a more harmonious noise of 4 cylinders working in unison. I believe the 22000 miles is real now. No crazing on clocks spoke nipples still zinc coated. OK its no k0 but cheap classic motorcycycling. I now smell of piston crown carbon. Just saying I like it

Are your k8 exhausts 4into4? Mine are 4 into 2 trombone shape I think but the chrome has peeled off the rhs exhaust for some reason. Not rotten though
