what tyres for cb750k6

Hi all
i have just bought a lovely 1977 cb750k6 i love the bike to bits,what tyres would you reccomend it is fitted with a metzeler lazer on the front,it feels a bit heavy on the steering,compared to my mates 750k2 which is fitted with TT100s.pressures are ok.

Hi Dave, i have 2 750's and i have TT100'S on 1 of them and Dunlop Golds Seal K70 on the other both good tyres and still fairly cheap ;), got mine from here

The TT100s have a much more "triangular" profile and will offer quicker steering. The downside is that they'll wear out down the middle if you lots of motorway miles before the edges are anywhere near worn.

I used to use TT100s in the 70's and they were only good for about 3000 miles on my 500/4.

There still the same Steve middle wears out before the edges and 3,000 miles if your lucky, thats riding the bike hard though, cheers Mick.
