You must have super vision Mick, but it is true,  there are not many faithful black and neutral finishes.  Guess you see that sort of thing in your business too.

I was working in photographic industry as digital cameras got going into consumers,  we reliably had complaints from people with those blue Subaru,  which all came out slightly purple from most of the early cameras.  It was related to how much infra red light the paint reflects but not visible to our eyes. The camera chip was supposed to be screened for IR but clearly not sufficient to exclude it so it then forms part of the ongoing image.

Wedding photos are like that too with synthetic coloured fabrics on bridesmaids coming out odd in final print.  Along with bright underwear visible through white fabrics when flash (has alot of IR content) pings them and they record what's being worn.  A right pain to try and explain. Conversation starting with "so, you were wearing synthetic underwear" don't usually make for the best in customer service. :)
