There is a CB750F god
« on: May 20, 2019, 04:22:46 PM »
Somehow managed to pick this up over the weekend - a NOS CB750F HM392 Silencer.

This was the final piece of the jigsaw for my unrestored CB750 F1 with 2k miles.

More to follow..

;D It's funny as you can read through a couple of times and not see the obvious.

Nice find though to complete a bike that's essentially so new.

That really is rare, I have the one from mine in the loft, I took it off just after I bought the bike in 1976 but did not bin it, like a lot of the standard bits I kept them just in case I ever sold the bike.

Nice one James  :)

I noticed this guy has the collector box/downpipe assy  NOS ... Gawd knows if the price is realistic ... I guess that due to the rarity, it probably is  :(

Just shows how times have changed, when I was restoring my F1 I got a complete set of nos front pipes for a very reasonable price from DS, now the world seems to have gone mad, must dig out the receipt and see how much it was for comparison.

Cheers
