Green1 (Mick) and his dad (Dave) came round buy my EX650R today, all the way from Essex to Derby in the rain, hats off to them, the Duck sticker on the fairing was quite apt given the weather conditions!, good to meet you both again 👍

All that clobber didn't keep the rain out. I have a very wet crouch  :o
Take note Hairy my 21 year old Aprilia made it there and back in torrential rain.
My dad was sat on the top box rack the full 175mile
I bought the bike for the old boy as its a lot smaller then the Triumph I may let him ride it tomorrow if he pays for it

I got soaked taking it for an MOT before they called for it, but that was an 8 mile round trip, not 350!, I’ve never seen leather gloves that waterlogged before, must’ve weighed 5lb each 😄

I didn't let him ride it today as he was complaining his arse hurts after yesterdays run. So I stole it this morning  ;D and put another 80mile on it. Yesterday we stopped at newport pagnal to top the bikes up thats 95.5 miles exactly from home. I topped it up again this morning before my run and only managed to get £7.60 in it. That sounds bloody good to me  :)
Apart from the mirror folding in at speed its a great little thing and quite rapid at 7000rpm.

I’m guessing that’s the left hand mirror, I left it a bit loose because I had to fold it every time I put it in the garage to get it close to the wall 🙂, it never folded on me though ,you’re riding it too fast!, just tighten the Allen bolt!, yes mpg is good, I never properly checked what it was doing but well over 50mpg is my guess, told you it got quick above 7k 👍, and let Dave have a go, you’re hogging it 🙂
