Manufacturers catalogue page:

http://search.yht.co.jp/catalog/011a.asp?pf_id=03011003000

I think 'unichrome' is basically the same as BZP with bluish chromate passivation.
 From this translation from Japanese.
"Features
Pan Head Machine Screws with Crossed Holes. It is used where there is no problem even if the head comes out. The material is steel and unichrome plating (light blueish color) is applied to improve corrosion resistance. For the standards, see JIS B 1111 Annex (M3 or more).
Used
for general fastening of small parts compared to application bolts. It is more corrosion resistant than fabric."

Thanks for the links Ash.
Graham's Son used to be Marketing Director (or something up top of ladder) at RS components, if he were still there we could of got a discount 🙄🙄🙄 He is now head honcho at a multi international conglomerate that specialises in everything 'the future is electric powered' so no use to any of us at all really 🤔🤔🤔
LINK TO MY EBAY PAGE. As many of you know already, I give 10% discount and do post at cost to forum members if you PM me direct.

Why not just ask me Ash. I have hundreds of those in stock already. I think that the M6 don't have a dimple and the others are so small that you have to look really hard to see if there is a dimple or not  ;)

No worries but thanks Graham.. too many bikes (12) that need 'em to come cadging bucket-loads of 'em. Besides free postage and all my business work fasteners will all now be JIS  ;) ;) ;)   If you get my drift ! If you have any 60's early Pre-No8  JIS fasteners though I am very interested.

Just received the screws from RS ...... M5 and M4 and washers look spot on. M6 fine and made in Japan but no dimple. Plating looks deffo BZP with clear chromate passivation.
