I have found that Halfords Aluminium Engine Paint is a good match for the Honda engine cases.

Hi Guys,
painted the engine with 2 coats of simmoniz VHT silver, looks the dogs boll**ks, spent the afternoon polishing the cases, tappet cover and altenator cover done so far, far easier when you shotblast with glass beads, one question which side does the earth strap go to ,the brake switch side or tuther?found a supplier for the push nuts that keep the seat chrome rail on, stainless as well,

Hi Mike
Nice to read your rebuild story. Can you tell me where you got your wheels built please? I need to get my front done as the PO had it rebuilt with stainless spokes and the old rim. Really needs a new rim.

Thanks

Seamus

Hi,
well you can get a rim from silvers, I had my wheels rebuilt using a new rim from Silvers and s/steel spokes ,just because there is no problems with rust , the wheels was rebuilt by http://www.devonrimcompany.com/classicrims.htm# from devon
