My first thought was the neutral switch but I knew they had a large blob on the end and you deliberately showed them from the other side to throw me off I reckon, does look like the contact plate from the regulator though.

I showed them as they came to be after being made. The blob is a pressed nipple which I have to do by hand  ;) ;)

This process is called acid etching and was only worth it because we could get loads on a sheet. Now all I have to do is sell them to cover all the costs  ::)

Nice one  ;) .. may be worth considering fitting a contact rivet like these people sell.

Been on to that company and they don't do rivets small enough for the job  ;)

Such as these may be ok the head will be about 3mm I would think if you want rivets. They do smaller ones as well. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1-16-dia-copper-rivets-1-2-Long-Round-head-solid-rivets-Model-steam-Boiler/283450344078?hash=item41fef5028e:m:myOswG9eYs5mn6yoLtybIdw

I think the originals were rivets with precious metal contacts brazed onto them (like ignition points have). This is the CB250/350K part  # 35752-286-000

CB500 one ( 35752-323-000)  looks like a plain brass or copper rivet from image below. I can't see why you would need precious metal anyway ...it's switching b*gger all current and non-inductive (ie a bulb). In my experience it's the springy metal that fatigues... it's in the crapest position possible on the CB250/350K ..gets blathered with grease and road muck. I guess the CB500 position is similar I guess but can't remember.
