Indeed, I am also happy with a 4 into 1 - sidecar meant the original 4 into 4 system was removed by previous owner anyway  Plus given just how finicky these things are to make to the satisfaction of restorers its small wonder they paused production, 2.5k a set means perfection is rightly expected, if they cost less than double skin downpipes etc to prevent discouloration and getting it lined up perfectly and details spot on - tricky business and by the time you account for all the returns they had setting up - I suspect they'll hold off making more til demand is very high before dipping a toe in those waters again.

Thats £2500 for 3 NOS (I assume genuine Honda) pipes and 1 used pipe. These are not the DSS replica's.
Current bikes:
TriBsa CCM 350 Twin
Honda CB350F in Candy Bacchus Olive
Honda CB750F2 in Candy Apple Red
Triumph Trident 660 in Black/White
Triumph T100C
Suzuki GS1000HC
Honda CB450K0 Black Bomber
Honda CB750K5 in Planet Blue Metallic (Current Project)

Spoken to DSS today.
They won't be having the exhausts back in stock until next year at the earliest.
Gives us a quandary with our bike.... we have the original exhausts but they are a bit of a state.

The lack of available HM323 exhausts is going to make restoring a CB500 properly a real pain in the ass. Amazed they aren’t re-stocking sooner; surely there must be a demand for them?

Well I'm after a set for a start.
I don't understand why they can't just get them in to order? Does anyone know who the manufacturer of the aftermarket exhausts is? Might be able to go direct to them?

From what i understand Honda did not make them in the first place but subbed out the work and a few "Big" parts suppliers got the original manufactures to make them after Honda stopped orderering but as with all things like this the order has to be big enough to get the price down  to whre people will buy whilst giving all in the chain a profit worth working for.

So is it the same situation with HM341’s for the 750? Looks like DSS have de-listed these as well..

The numbering on the exhausts in the ebay link. Marker pen can be the very devil to remove from metal it gets into the skin of the metal.
