Fuel tap o-ring
« on: June 15, 2019, 04:26:44 PM »
Hi, does anyone know the size of the o-ring that seals the lever on this type of tap... or a link to an eBay item?
Many thanks
Phil

If you mean on the lever dont think its an O ring and its a flat version tap to tank from memory only available in a strainer kit for many pounds.

Definitely an o-ring...on this one at least😊 sits on the back of the lever behind the front plate..will take it apart again and measure. It's seeping fuel from the front of the tap.
Cheers

O-ring in question....diameter on lever is 19.0mm and bore it sits in is 22.25mm. Going to order 19mm ID,  2mm section.
Cheers

It's the same type of tap as mine on the F model and should have a o ring.

Just had a look at the drawing for the K5 (should have mentioned the model) and matches what I've got. Shows the o-ring behind the tap lever.
