My friend owned it from (I think I remember correctly) 2002 until 2015, when it was sold to Frank. I've ridden it quite a few miles in the past, it's also been to France (Coupe de Moto Legende) and Belgium (Spa Biker Classic) with our little group.

My friend now has a Kawasaki Z900 RS, following a couple of years with a Honda CB1100 EX.

He is riding to the Festival of 1000 Bikes with me tomorrow.

I was pretty sure it was in a Honda dealers and advertised for sale on eBay before Frank got his mitts on it.

That's correct, it was offered by CJ Ball Honda in Norwich, as the owner wanted to exchange it against the new CB1100. He kept the 1100 for around three years, however a sports injury meant that it became too heavy for him.

For a while, he had both the 750 and the 1100 together, but a lack of garage space meant that it was a temporary situation only. He has never lost the urge to own a CB750 though and occasionally rides my K2 and, at the end of every ride when he drops it off talks of swapping his Z900 RS for it!
