F1 Airbox on K6
« on: July 17, 2019, 09:35:45 PM »
I've decided to fit a standard airbox on the K6 Cafe racer project I've currently building to simplify the setup of the carburation (couldn't go that with the CR750 Replica for obvious reasons). It came with pods (not fitted) and I have just bought an airbox off ebay that from looking through CMSL schematics, it turns out to be an F1.
I cant see any reason why it shouldn't fit and set up ok but would appreciate your confirmation (or not!) that it will be suitable
Thanks

I had the later box on my K1 for awile. It fitted but rubbed on the standard side panels just a little bit.
The only other thing I noticed was less induction noise when you pinned the throttle.
I think the earlier box is much cleaner looking
