OE Petrol Cock pan screws?
« on: September 20, 2019, 12:36:43 PM »
Just offered up the DS supplied OE 93500-060-28A (6x28) K1 petrol cock retaining screws and found they are too short with just a few mm thread left to bite. The photos show the 'OE' screw against the one that came out (6x35) without the fibre washers and tank gasket fitted which would take up even more valuable thread.

The solution is to buy a couple of 6x35 pan screws or fit the ones that I removed, but was wondering whether anyone else has found this, or is it just me?

Should be ok to use the old one's,  but if you want an alternative you could probably get them from AHC on the A30 in Camberley.

They should be able to match your pattern, I've often bought stainless from them to match an existing bolt. Park down the road adjacent to side of shop as there's no Park on road outside.

Many thanks, I know AHC on the A30.

I also just searched on DS' website under 93500-060-35A thinking the 28A of the OE Honda Part No reflected the length and it does.  :)
