Setting valve clearances
« on: April 21, 2020, 08:17:01 PM »
Does anyone remember a technique for setting the valve clearances by using the adjusters like a vernier gauge; that is, so many turns equals so many thou? I used to have that set up on my old Thruxton Bonne but I think I got those adjuster from the US and they had socket heads not slots.

Just a thought as I can't find my old ground down feeler gauges that fitted nicely in the rather small Honda access holes.

Thank you for that Bryan, I had never heard that one before, very useful.
