I really think the only lubricant you'll find reliable for this is....Elbow Grease!  ;D

Petcock ? Its a fuel tap and they should stick to the outlets, that how they don't leak. To easy get the pipes off, there is a little tool that you clamp to the pipe and turn   ;)

Where can i find said little tool
I use one of these..
