Chrome Clock base cover - plate screws?
« on: October 27, 2019, 11:55:06 AM »
The part number for the little M3x8 pan screws that hold on the chrome clock base covers is 93500-03005-08 but doesn't show up on a search on the DS website or CMSNL and Yamiya.

Andy Cepok shows them at £1.26 each plus £6+ postage, albeit with a different part number:  https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Honda-CB-750-Four-K0-K1-K2-Screw-Pan-Chrome-Gauge-Covers-New-Orig/293254900211?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649

But from my previous experience of dealing with Cepok which was not good I'm reluctant to deal with them - grateful if someone could  please point me to a supplier than can supply them?

Thanks,
Andrew

You have to be careful with 8mm long screws, some will touch the parts in the clock so always measure the old ones  ;)

The parts book maybe wong as, there are two types of clocks. Always measure the original ones  ;)

RS do JIS in chrome but they don't list the length. I have spoken to them about listing the length but no joy and I have forgot what they said the length of these ones were. Always worth emailing them to ask. LINK >>>https://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/machine-screws/4899315/

If you get any result with RS, I will go halves on a packet with you. 5 or 6mm will do the job  ;)

That's a good price for 100 = £5.14 and free postage :o, i didn't realise that RS sold nuts and bolts, thought it was only electronics, i will be looking there in future.
