Morning dew...
« on: October 28, 2019, 04:27:59 PM »
With colder weather closing in I might have known better. My bike lives outside and for a couple of nights I neglected to put  a cover over her. The other morning I noticed after about an hours ride that there was fluid in my tail light lens....on closer inspection I feel I could have transported a goldfish in it! I'm surprised the light still worked after I drained it. Reminded me of he time I found about half a pint in my Z400J's airbox. What to do and look out for...is drilling a drain hole in the lens a good idea and are there any vulnerable places elsewhere on a CB400F with this sort of thing?
I brake for animals!

It must be a truck think my Ranger was always covered in slugs.
I had to change a porch bulb for a customer recently and the light was filled to the brim and weighed about as much as a fish bowl

And put some fibre washers on the screws.
Where's that 10mm socket got to?

Fix from the 70s.

Put some Vaseline on the gasket.
