Ha ha that's our old sparring partner on here Bike-pusher  :D .. took a dislike to Bitsa (RIP) and 'pushed'  :) off.
He's just bought a garage full of 400/4 parts many NOS including a NOS genuine  exhaust system I believe,

Don't worry mate ...just bought an ignition switch with original key off him when I looked the silencer listing. Seems to have sold some stuff pretty cheaply recently. My comment was tongue in cheek to a large degree but he ruffled a few feathers of  a couple of members on here when he joined us.

I will need a new silencer before too long. This one is made by Sito of Italy. Does anyone have any experience of this make? If it fits ok etc?

I just bought the switchgear, don't really need it but sometimes you can't pass up good items which may just fail on your bike.

Saying that I'm trying to convert my 500 to a hydraulic clutch which will mean the left hand switch gear being butchered to remove the lever mount, I could do with just the bottom section of this switch so I don't have to butcher a good one, maybe even one where the lug has snapped or the cable adjuster has stripped out. If I can't find one I'll butcher the one I've just bought, which would be a shame really.

I don't know if you are fixed on using a MC on the handlebars,  but didn't BMW?  Use a a cable brake lever linked to a remote MC years ago?  Not necessarily the hardware but the concept of running conventional clutch cable to a remote MC maybe mounted behind the side panel to give you a system.

He's got a kickstart lever and knuckle for £119.95. I've dropped a PM to Taysidedragon as he posted a request for one recently.  I know that sounds expensive but has anyone tried to get one recently, he obviously knows how much they are worth!

I think I may have some here that were stripped or bust so I'm sure I can help

Thanks for thinking of me. I might be sorted for a kickstart thanks.
Didn't get a PM though. 😯

Hi Taysidedragon, you are right, the pm isn't in my sent messages! All I can think of is I was on a train at the time of sending it, I guess because I didn't receive a message it hadn't been sent I assumed it had (if you get my gist!). Anyway looking your other thread it looks like you have now found the holy grail of 400/4 spare parts 👍.
So...... Bikepusher still has a £119.95 400/4 kick-start for sale to a lucky browser 😊.
