Original finish on K0 carb clips
« on: November 06, 2019, 01:20:39 AM »
Anyone know what finish original carb clips were on the very 1st K0's  BZP or olive drab passivate? Not sure but this brochure shot looks like BZP?

James ?

The brochure picture may be a very early test assembly,  mockup etc sent for studio photography to preceed production as brochure timing would be of that order.

It's obviously a clean image from straight technical studio shot with lighting and straight views made just for illustration,  likely supplied handbook etc in black and white layout / printing too.  Again timing of that would preceed the production run I'd have imagined.

Every 500 K0 that I’ve come across has the dark olive drab finish with BZP screw. That’s how I’d finish yours personally...

Is that true for a squared off crankcase bike James.......
