Which Exhaust System
« on: December 09, 2019, 10:28:03 PM »
Hi all, I asked this question back in August as to which system I should fit. Only just getting round to arranging one now.
DS are out of stock again of the 4 into 1 and haven't had the muffler for some time so I rang Delkevic to ask about their system.
My 400/4 is a '78 with rear foot rests mounted on the frame.
The chap at Delkevic advised that their system with muffler only fits 400/4 with rear foot rests on the swing arm.
Has anybody on here fitted a Delkevic system to a 400/4 with frame mounted foot rests and if yes, what mods were made?
Thanks.

The Delkevic system will fit  the f2  frame but you have to make up  your own mounting bracket but it easy to do.

Its tucks quite tight [ Guests cannot view attachments ]

Its a nice system and fits well, if a little on the loud side.

Hi Northy, many thanks for reply and pics. My machine has the Italian 400/4 single seat so guess I don't need the rear foot rests anyway.
Trip down to Delkevic in the new year then.
