I can see their point the fish and chips I had there were delicious, I could do with some now for tea.

Cheers

We should rename this thread “Out and About 2020 13/5-“

According to the information. I can ride 12 west to the border. And almost limitless to the other directions.
So a few potters around the cotswolds seem favourite.

Wonder if the road side cafe are open?

The burger van on the main road is open every night so I guess similar cafes would be.

Just not the go in and sit down type.

You would be better off with Coronavirus than eating at 90% of burger vans.  ;)

But. The virus is tasteless.

At least a greasy bun
With fried egg.bacon.ketchup.
Or

Burger. Fried unions. Sauce.

What a way to go.

It always tastes better in the fresh air with a hot motorcycle nearby

Out today. In the depths of Oxfordshire.

Picturesque little village Shilton. Just south of Burford

160 miles round trip. Just under 13litres used.

Although the last 40 miles was in economy mode.

Nice backdrop for the photos.

Is that the ford where Henry Cole bogged down his Landrover?

Lovely John , great to see you and your lovely bike back out and about. I did a quick 45 mile sprint around part of what is known locally as the Lincolnshire TT circuit, on my 400/4. Roads still pretty empty but that's normal for here. Blimey, it felt good to have a fast blast......

Another biker sent me this, it tickled me no end. He knows I have a large framed poster of Steve McQueen on this bike (which I've seen in the flesh).

Anyhoo, I've not been out on the bike other than occasional essential booze shopping, so yesterday evening I did a bit of green laning on the CL450.

I might take the wife out on the Sportster tomorrow - sadly she's not a fan of pillion on the CL, she doesn't like the small seat and the lack of a grabrail. Her ankle got twisted gardening (!) so no more long walks for now - going lame out on the moors is not an option. What I'll miss about a ride out is somewhere to go to - usually there is food, an attraction or a drink at the other end, so I guess it will have to be a circular tour instead.

Out today on the CB200. Running quite nicely. Comfortable cruise about 60.

Light and nimble.
Thoroughly enjoyable

And it just sips fuel.

Next time I must remember to take some pictures

Does that 200 need the optional anchor or have you got the rarity of a cable disc that works?

Surprisingly. After a decent rebuild and new cable. It works as good as a drum brake.

But hardly progress

I can actually slow down
