Thanks Oddjob. Although I myself wasn't fooled, that original box is misleading. I guess when ordered it will arrive WITHOUT the Honda logo, no matter what it says in that ad. If I order one, it will probably be from DS. For the moment, I'm still in the process of gathering experiences here in Holland.

Some years back I re-trimmed a 550 K1 seat with a repro cover. I carefully cut the chrome trim moulding from the original seat cover, and glued into place over the new cover once fitted to the old base. Looked very nice and OEM. No pics I’m afraid.

Thanks James, that's another possibility I consider.

As you are in Holland wouldnt CMSNL be easier as its probably same supplier(DS and CMS have been hand in hand on a lot of repro stuff!) especially after #@%$

Usually I understand what is ment by #@%$, Bryan. Ah... not this time, could it be that it begins with a 'B' and ends with a 't'? ;) Anyway, I've noticed that sometimes - not always - DS is cheaper. CMSNL's site is brilliant though.

There are only three words in the auto-censor list (at the moment)
