CB550 - Chrome Domed Nuts, Upper rear shock absorbers
« on: February 01, 2020, 05:23:39 PM »
I'm looking for a supplier of the above as the ones on my bike are in poor shape (well the chrome is anyway).   I can get a pair from Dave Silvers, but when you add on the VAT and carriage, they want to relieve me of over £10 for just two nuts, which seems a bit excessive.   Can anyone point me in the direction of a supplier a bit (lot) cheaper.

Thanks
Now where did I put that 10mm socket?

They are a 'special' nut, deeper (and washer is a most peculiar size) so won't be much cheaper from anywhere else. Yamiya do them for just under £3 each but then you have carriage on top. £10 sounds a lot of money but, cheap compared to re chroming. We have some spare ones but like yours they are not in the best of tip top condition. ☹️
Im a Nurse, trust me, this won't hurt.....much !!!
