Hello

Hi , been registered a while but just read stuff never posted . I've been into classic british bikes for twenty odd years but recently acquired four hondas off an ill friend . All were the worse for wear and been laid up for fifteen or sixteen years.i HOF a c70 cub a gave to friend, a VF750 which I've got running and intend selling or swapping due to lack of interest. But the other two floated my boat ,two cb750ks, a 74 and a 76. I've nearly finished the 76 from boxes of bits and the 74 an old rusted up racing bike with a yoshi big bore kit will be next. Refreshing change from triumph twins!

Hi Steve and congrats on making the transition from ‘lurker’ to ‘poster’. Be good to see some photos of the bikes when you’re ready...James

Welcome from me too Steve, you'll find lots of helpful and friendly advice from members who are only too willing to share their combined years of knowledge and experiences.

As you've found the SOHCs are a world apart from twin Brits - must admit to a hankering for a T160 Trident myself.

Cheers, Andrew

Rebuilding a Triumph, carefull with the manual(even the genuine one) it is, shall we say, slightly incorrect in places, as for the Haynes version----makes a good campfire.

Seriousl though i built too many to contemplate back in th 70's pm me the year/modle and i will trawl the geriatric grey cells for any non relevant info i retain!
