CB550F2 Seat

I have had my F2 Seat, re- covered by Core Motorcycles near Nettleham, just North of Lincoln. I am ore than happy with the result

I went to see him as I had an original cover that was in a bit of a state.

He said that he could repair the original cover but couldn’t give any guarantees it would last too long.

The original was 40 years old and not in very good condition.

I opted for a new seat cover, to be a replica of the original. The Honda logo was embroidered.

The seat pan was powder coated and the foam sorted.

To see the quality of this work makes me realise that the Honda seats were made by an accountant. They were good enough for the job.

I am picking it up on Monday, but from the photo’s it looks quality. Not cheap but worth it.

Picked up seat this morning. It really is a first class reproduction of the original. Looks better than the photo’s. Next job is the tank.
