This link may have already been posted, but if not here's a series of very good and interesting short classic 70-80's bike videos from Paul Brace to while away the self-isolation.

I bought the XS1100 from him last October featured in his videos. I can not believe that the bike magazine tested it in the condition it was. They did comment about the poor brakes but..........Front tyre on limit. Both front calipers about 90% seized and master cylinder seals shot. All sorted now and it`s a bloody good bike !.

Just watched most of the videos, absolutely brilliant, really enjoyed them.

The XS11 is a heavy brute to stop so would guess the brake pads and the front tire would take a hammering, my mate's CBX had the same issues. You can see on the video the front tire is on the limit. That said, almost seized calipers and a master cylinder with shot seals is poor maintenance, although having so many bikes it's probably difficult to keep on top of things.

Just watched most of the videos, absolutely brilliant, really enjoyed them.

Believe me, they were well seized ! Stops on a sizpence now.
