alternative to taper roller head bearings
« on: February 12, 2020, 04:12:18 PM »
Saw these on ebay, might be a better fit than the taper roller conversion kits that stick up too high at less cost than genuine items.

Hi,
Has anyone tried these?
About to start rolling chassis build and had also seen these and wondered if they are any good
Cheers

My opinion - I would put tapered ones (I have proven set from AllBalls that contains needed washers and seal), even it requires some adjustment on top bearing. But end the end it is worth to do, you will get best possible handling performance.
