Haha sorry I didn't look at the original post date, it pinged up as Singal posted.

I would like to get a cover but not desperately, a damaged one will do, I know they are a bit rare in good condition with the kickstart hole undamaged, I don't need a kickstart.

On the parts side, I have a CB750 oil tank with some hoses free to a good home, it has a dent in the side.

I have a damaged one I earmarked for  you somewhere ..I will dig it out.

I am OK for an oil tank thanks so if anyone else on here needs one it may be worth putting in the sales section.

Ok, if anyone else wants it is cool. I'll mention it elsewhere.

As soon as we can move around again freely me and my better half are touring in my camper making our way south (I'm in Cumbria) with an end destination on the south coast to pick up an XS1100 in kit form for her, if I'm going past anyone I can deliver the oil tank.

It's hard to tell from that photo. Can you measure the base circle and lift?

I think your problem is your cam is earlier than the one that uses 312 rockers as yours has a base circle of 30mm and the one that uses 312 rockers has a base circle of 33-34 mm . This is why you can't achieve the correct rocker clearances. Unfortunately, the 286 rockers are rarer and also much sought after by the CB350 classic racer fraternity.

If you look at the screenshot below I think your cam is the  -050 version

I don't have any spare 286 rockers but I will look out for you. The alternative is to source a -060 camshaft, which are more common as used on late K2,K3,K4,K5 (disc brake model) and of course you could sell yours. It really depends what you can find ...i.e. 4  x 286 rockers or a -060 camshaft.
