I don't like taking paracetamol I have funny side effects from them.
My dad makes a good nurse really its the outfit thats a bit disturbing.
I got up at ten this morning with a loud ringing in my right ear. It sounds like a refridgerator humming and morse code combined. My lungs feel lovley and clear but I seem very awere of my heart beat and a dull ache everytime I inhall.

You could always self isolate in the new camper Phil..... I'm thinking of doing the same but out in our big box trailer....😁😁😁. Like most of us I'm finding it difficult to not be able to go out for a big long ride when the sun is out.... Its driving me a bit crazy to tell the truth.

Just when both of my bikes are ready and my new knew has been run in I'm stuck in the house and when this lot is over I have the other knee being renovated which will probably muck up next summer. Never mind it's better than the alternative !

Cheers

As I am in high risk lock down I have started the long haul of re-pointing the house.  Sand and cement is cheap entertainment. Should keep me quiet for the rest of the year.   :(

That is a great project, I can remember being very young and being the proud owner of my first house, I was a bit alarmed to discover that I could remove bricks from under my bathroom window by hand very easily, the house dated back to 1938 and the mortar appeared to have coal dust in it. So after gleaning what info I could from my work mates I decided to re point the house, on their advice I started at the back to perfect my technique and it worked by the time I got around to the front it was very neat. I then turned my attention to the roof and did the ridge tiles, fun days.

Cheers

Where I grew up in Fulham many of the houses had suffered bomb damage probably due to the proximity of the railways and a Rover maintainance depot that was then producing tanks. It seems that bomb blast has strange effects and left many houses apparently undamaged but on closer inspection it turned out they were only loosely assembled. It's nice to see that those same houses are selling for on average £1.5 million.

Great news Green1, I feel better,I’ve rechecked my timeline,I actually started feeling ill on the 14th, fever started 18th, today I actually felt well for the first time since this all started , slight tightness still in the lungs but the fatigue has gone 🙂, to celebrate I went out for a ride (following gov guidelines of course , I had to get meds for my vulnerable venerable parents), mowed the lawn, detailed the cars engine bay, it’s 8.45pm and I don’t even feel tired, unbelievable!, so now you know how long you’ll feel poorly, 3 weeks!😱

a man is worried about his wife and takes her to be tested. couple of days later ,he gets a call off the doctor

doc ]- i'm sorry to have to tell you this , but your wife's test results got mixed up with another patients , and , unfortunately we don't know if she's got covid 19 or Alzheimers .

man ]-so what should i do now ?

doc ]- best thing is to take her for a walk somewhere , and leave her there . if she finds her way home , don't answer the door
