Frame Paint Question
« on: April 10, 2020, 12:58:43 PM »
Afternoon

I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations for spray paint for the frame ?

The frame downtubes want rubbing down and I'd rather get a spray finish than brush ... also semi gloss if possible.

I've heard that Hammerite smoothrite is OK but takes an age to cure.

Anyone used Eastwood spray ?

Any other suggestions ?

Thanks

Simon

Rust-oleum Combicolor is far superior to Hammerite.
I use there products all the time as I have never had any bad feed back

It gives just the right sheen level. It is avalable in a spray but I would brush it on as it dries brush stroke free and you will get more on.
All modern oilbased products take an age to dry now.

I've been using combicolor for the small touch ups etc so just perhaps need to get stuck in :)
