Know the feeling but it is cool!
One day I'll have the time to restore it, not just talk and dream....

All you need to do is remember that opinions are like arseholes, everyone has got one. ::) Personally, I like it.

Not for me but back in the day I used to "mess around" with my bikes all the time so each to their own, life would be boring if we all thought alike

Cheers

I don't really care if the bolts are factory originals, or bar/footrest rubbers are original, or the clutch cable bracket points the right way, I look at it as another SOHC still on the road and in use, not broken for spares or trailered from show to show with the owner counting its monetary worth.
nice bike,nothing in the bank

Because you like getting wet and not seeing where you are going at night?

At least you wouldn't have to worry any more about the correct #8 bolts and the original silver chocolate JIS screws...

I like the tank 😊😊😊😊Each to their own but too many bits missing and all those cut away bits will collect a shed load of Lincolnshire mud.

I'm feeling the urge to go 'off-piste' a bit with one of my 750 K0 restorations....this could be divisive to say the least...:-)

Have you still got the sandcast (i think) 750 k0 chop you imported a while back?

I quite liked it, but at the time assumed a lot of it was headed for the skip.

Are you talking about the 'chopper' Dave - this one?:

Yes that’s the one. I’d assume you would only use the front wheel/ fork lowers and engine, but the rest looks quite well done, with a custom frame rather than a bodged Honda one.

I saw a CB750 chopper at an NABD rally a couple of years ago with a sandcast engine, quite a low number - my immediate thoughts were ‘Does he know?’ and ‘if not, would he sell it to me?’

For the original picture posted, I never like front mudguards that don't fit the wheel circumference.  If I owned it I'd kick myself everytime walking toward it for not doing it properly.

Not keen on the rear and seat either,  but it overall has a good stance to it which makes it attractive.  Kinda mini flat tracker demeanour to it without being poncy.

As for a different take on 750, the above period body kits look interesting.
