Negative or Ground

Hi all i am reasonably ok with electrics and have a good idea how it works but i have a slight problem ive never come across before with the F2 its got a negative (Black) and a ground(Green) which ultimately go to the neg terminal of the battery. what is the difference and why.

Ground and earth are two terms for the same thing. All Honda loom earths are green but the heavy duty negative lead is black and positive red

And then the positive turns black 😃
Until you know what's what, best use a circuit diagram
Where's that 10mm socket got to?

Only turns black after its swiched on

If you connect it to the mains  it'll all turn black.
Where's that 10mm socket got to?
