Where are these D washers from?
« on: June 01, 2020, 11:42:04 AM »
Just refitting the brake caliper adjuster spring and found two D washers in the same bag, it seems there's a 6mm plain washer missing but wondered where these D washers are from?

Thanks,
Andrew

Could be calliper spacers, but look like the washers from the triple tee clamp

I know it’s a yoke, but it’s also a triple tee in parts of the world :)

And Please don’t call me a septic 🙏

I see you are from the North East, spent several years in Southshields where they put a zebra crossing about 5 yards from every roundabout exit.

Would never call you septic. Its as somebody famous said "the UK and the US are two countries separated by the same language"

The crossings are just a test to see if drivers are awake 😳

No worries

Yet supposedly based from England.

Why is it called a triple tree?
The Triple Tree was the name referred to the typical structure of Tyburn gallows, composed by a beam placed across the branches of two trees. The triangle shape of this structure provided it the name of the Triple Tree, used the first time in 1571, at the time of the execution of the Catholic cleric John Story.
