Walkaround video of Frank's Shop (Motorcyce Unlimited)
« on: May 29, 2020, 08:03:27 AM »
Some lovely bikes in there I must admit. Check out the seat on the CB500K0

Being picky the CB92 should have a black plastic screw top tank and alloy front mudguard to be a true '61. I am restoring a '61 so that video is a good reference (apart from the bits mentioned). Still debating whether to do it in red or blue though. looks like it has Australian Overlander seamless repro silencers. I managed to get NOS genuine ones for mine from Japan but they are the seamed type. The guy who used to often do the trimming on 'Car S.O.S.' TV programme made my race seat cover .. an absolute work of art and perfect replica of the seude material.

I've looked at their site several times. Many desirable machines at popular prices. :-\

I've been there a few times.

Nowhere near as tidy as that :)

Think that relates to alot of retail sites. I don't recognise my own shop from our website!! :P
One day I'll have the time to restore it, not just talk and dream....

I don't know if they restore the bikes themselves or buy them in, they are always immaculate, but with eye watering prices.

there are obviously people out there with enough disposable money to buy them though, or the business just wouldn't work.

I don’t think he actually owns any of them. Most of them are sold on commission.

Frank did buy my friend's CB750 (1970, road test bike and prize from one of the magazines in the 90's).

I knew Frank when he operated from a wooden shed at his parents house in Ealing in the late 70's.

After I posted this there was a heated debate on Facebook CB92 group about the incorrect parts on Franks CB92.
Steered well away from commenting on that one.   :)
